Purpose & Mission
What does this scholarship golf tournament mean to our South County communities?
Over the past seven years, SCRA has awarded over $100,000 in scholarship dollars to our South County high school seniors.
As a subsidiary of SCCAOR, SCRA is a REALTOR association which specifically represents the communities of Morgan Hill, San Martin and Gilroy. We are proud to continue to give back to our communities and the people who have supported our small businesses.
By offering our high school seniors need-based scholarship awards, our contributions help our youth understand the importance of community. Each student who applies for an SCRA scholarship is required to complete an extensive application, supply letters of recommendation, write an essay, and attend a live panel interview with SCRA members.
The best part? Scholarship recipients are invited to our SCRA Realtor Broker Tour meeting, where they are welcomed to introduce themselves and share where they will be attending school and what they will be studying. On occasion, one of our past award recipients will contact us and share how their award changed their life for the better.
